Description
As part of the picturesque Sunnenseit'n Weg, the suspension bridge spans majestically over the Stubai Valley. The structure is located at an altitude of 1,300 meters and offers a fantastic view over the valley. It blends naturally into its surroundings and creates a combination of modern engineering and scenic beauty.
The bridge has a span of 110 meters, is 50 meters above the ground and the walkway is up to 2.5 meters wide. Two suspension cables and a wind cable provide maximum stability in wind and weather. A total of up to 600 people can be on the bridge at the same time. Even high snow loads in winter are no problem for this work of modern engineering.
The fastest way to reach the bridge is from Neustift im Stubaital. After approx. 75 minutes on foot along the Sunnenseit'n path, you cross the suspension bridge. The moderately difficult hiking trail is accessible free of charge all year round. It is not suitable for wheelchairs and baby carriages.
Above the bridge is the viewing platform with the Neustiftblick natural spectacle. Great vacation photos can be taken here. Both the platform and the suspension bridge are suitable for all ages.
