Paris

Everyone knows Paris is the city of love par excellence. Take the hand of your beloved one and enjoy just walking on the Champs-Élysées, the view of the Eiffel Tower or take a portrait of the two of you home, made my one of the countless street artists at Montmatre. Jardin du Luxembourg and Parc Monceau invite you for a romantic picnic with typical French specialties like wine, baguette and cheese and a great view of Arc de Triomphe. By far the most beautiful park in the city, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, is just out of the city center. Pont des Arts or Louvre are also appealing for romantic strolls. Rest on a bench or in a typical Parisian cafe and just watch the craziness of the metropolis while having a perfect view of  Île de la Cité or the Pont Neuf. Shipping on the Seine is also really romantic. At the foot of Montmartre you and your partner will see the park with the ' Mur des je t’aime'. Since 1992, you can find the sentence 'I love you' in 311 languages. Can it possibly get more romantic?

Venice

Venice should also be on every couple's bucket list. The city is literally build on water and was once an important city of shipping and trade. It is full of magnificent buildings, charming canals and represents the Italian lifestyle at its best. In this city on the Adrian coast most is going on around the Mark's Square that is lined with arcades. This is where you can admire St. Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace, the Campanile di San Marco, the Bibliteca Marciana and the Procuratie Nuove or you can just sit in a cafe, sip your cappuccino while watching the hustle and bustle. Of course you can't leave Venice if you didn't do the mandatory gondola ride, the countless canals gives you the ideal setting for a luscious romantic escape.

Verona as the set for William Shakespeare's story is ever-present while walking through the city. Verona serves up the usual northern Italian charm. Sit together by the campfire and listen to the mysterious sounds coming out of the African night. Closely snuggled it's easy to enjoy the beauty of the breathtaking and clear starry sky. Zanzibar

The group of islands Zanzibar is located off the East coast of Africa . The breathtaking archipelago is until today steeped in history as a trade and logistics hub that it was back in the 19th century. You can feel the charming and multicultural mixture characterized by the past. Arabian, Indian, Persian, African and European influences made the culture to what it is today and you can see all the differences in the old town Stone Town. As you walk through the alleys you will always have the smell of spices in your nose while walking by mosques, churches, Hindu temples, colonial buildings and British trade houses. The houses made out of coral stone are especially beautiful. Dive into the oriental feeling and haggle over souvenirs from the African markets. If you are more the nature lover type, just head to the Western part of the island which is characterized by green, fertile spice plantations. The East Coast is more tempting for anyone who simply wants to enjoy a lazy, luxurious beach vacation at perfect turquoise water. Here you can spend long, warm days snorkeling in the Indian Ocean and taking sunset walks along the water.
